The Parish is to the east of Elgin, lying to the north and south of the A96. It is a very pleasant rural parish, about 30 square miles in size, with agriculture the predominant industry.
Lhanbryde is the larger of the two villages within the parish, with about 2000 inhabitants. Urquhart, with a population of around 450, is about 2 miles to the north of Lhanbryde.
Sunday Worship is held at St Andrews-Lhanbryd & Urquhart Parish Church starting with a light meal.
The evening service on the 3rd Sunday of the month is held at Urquhart Parish Hall.
