- We are invited to embrace spiritual growth/maturity
- We are a work in progress
- Retirement from the Christian life should not be an option
- We are to tell our children and those who ask about our faith and the reason for it
- We are to grow in wisdom
- We will continue to bear fruit
- The best is yet to be this side and on the other side of our mortal life
