The Memory Tree was donated to SALU Church of Scotland in loving memory of Grant Anderson, who died in 1989, aged 16 years old.  Each leaf bears the name of a loved one.  If you wish to have a someone remembered you may get in touch to find out more using the form below.

Memory Tree Service

We hope this will be the beginning of a new tradition in  Lhanbryde: an end-of-year special service aimed at the whole community of Lhanbryde and Urquhart to honour and celebrate the lives of those who have passed away during the year. This year our Memory Tree Service  will be on Sunday 11th December at 7 pm in the church.  We will also include those who have passed during the pandemic and the queen.

Family members of those who have passed will be given an opportunity during the service to hang a copper leaf, engraved with the name and dates of birth and passing on the tree and lighting a candle.

The service will be simple, but intimate.
